Saturday, 28 March saw a great afternoon of sport for FYDP young people, workers and volunteers alike.
Five teams fought to become the winners of the first FYDP five-a-side tournament. There was lots of footy skills on show and goals a-plenty during the course of the three hour session at Soccer City. Every team was up for a great game of competitive football – but always with a sense of fair play and enjoyment.
Our winning team was made up of Chris, Steve, Jordan, Isaac and Howard. Well done! We want to say a big thank you to Soccer City who made the tournament possible. We have already had loads of positive feedback from the young people so it looks like this could become a regular event. Watch this space to find out when the next dose of footy fun is planned.
