During February half-term the FYDP team will be taking a group of young people from the project on a very special trip to London. Local MP Paul Truswell, has arranged for them to visit the House of Commons. He will also be listening to their views on how the voices of young people can be better heard when it comes to running our communities.
The trip will also provide a fun chance to see the sights of the capital, which for some of those involved will be an entirely new experience.
The trip is a thank you for all the hard work the young people put into the Community Festival last summer.
